Typhoon in TAIWAN

Rananim (the name of the typhoon) heads for Taiwan's north coast at 5 p.m August 12. (the time in Taiwan) Residents who live in the law place and high mountains are advised preparing for flooding and gusting winds.

With central Taiwan still struggling to recover from the damage brought by Tropical Storm Mindulle last month, meteorologist yesterday called the residents living northern and northeastern regions to brace themselves for more rains and winds as typhoon Rananim moves towards Taiwan.

In recently years, when a typhoon hit Taiwan, residents suffered a great loss. For example, the floods made many people’s home disappearing or damaged their furniture. They must spend time and money to rebuild their house. Maybe everything is just ok and the next typhoon will come. They fall into a vicious cycle and can’t go out.

I think the government should think of a way to solve this problem.

What a Terrible Typhoon!

When summer comes, there always have many typhoons in Taiwan. The most terrible typhoon was about few years ago. It took many lives, broke many houses, destroyed trees and forests. It was very horrible in that period. Many streets were full of water; many houses were also filled by water on their floor one, even floor two. People took the boats from their house to other street.

There is a typhoon in Taiwan now. Its direction just seems like that typhoon had came here a few years ago. There was a girl drowned in the river and lost for many. Her parents were very sad and keep looking for her body. Nobody wants to hear news like this, but in fact they always did happen. There are many sad stories just because of the terrible typhoon.
